Medium, dense, light-yellowish head over clear-copper beer, lazily carbonated. Catty, Valerian-like hops prominent in the nose (Belgisk??), dusty citrus, grapefruit,,.. (Belgisk??) More, quite resiny hops, citruspeel, grapefruit, finish being wry-bitter, even metallic (Belgisk??). Bitter dried apricots. Quite slick, feels rather well-bodied. I get it, now. Belgisk must be Bokmal for American. Good beer, though.

Clear orange beer, small irregular white head, little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: bit cheesy, grassy hops, very fruity, pineapple, bit piny. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: citrus, pretty bitter, grassy, sweet touch, some almonds. Aftertaste: bitter, grassy, citrus, bit malty, sweet notes. Very enjoyable beer!

pours hazy medium dark golden orange with a nice reviving light beige-orange head, nice lacing. spicy fresh oranges, their leaves, other flowery citrus including orange blossom, peppery apricots, peaches and danky mangoes, soft pine needles, woodsy vanilla, very nice spicy yeast carrying low-fi phénols, lean pale lightly spicy maltiness - giving way for yeast and hops to express fully. lively carbonation - just slightly foamy though, light to medium body - oily; balanced grassy-spicy-citrusy finish. great yeast action, soft and very nice use of american C hops. very well crafted.

Bouteille 50cl, batch#837, BB 20/06/2016.

Bottle from World Beer Market, batch 736. It pours a deep copper with a soapy off-white head reminiscent of a bubble bath and yeah if I could I probably would climb into my glass. A sweet lemony citrus with nice belgian funk. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. The taste is nice belgian funk, fruity/floral hops and a mild bitting bitterness & an earthy finish. Well done.

Bottle (500 ml). Split 2-ways with the lady.

Appearance: Cloudy orange with a huge slowly diminishing off-white head and little lacing.

Aroma: Citrusy and herbal upfront with moderate spiciness, hints of berries and caramel.

Taste: Slightly sweet with citrus, herbal presence, good malt backbone, moderate spiciness and light bitterness.

Palate: Medium body. Moderate carbonation. A tad oily mouthfeel. Herbal and slightly spicy finish. Mild lingering orange peel aftertaste

Overall: Decent Belgian Ale. It’s tasty, but the lack of carbonation and the rather strong orange presence and spiciness doesn’t help the drinkability.
