3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
50cl bottle from Vinmonopolet. Batch 736. Bottled 2014-04-22. Best before 2015-10-22. Dark orange colour with a medium big white foamy head that settles down fast. Aroma is floral and sweet. Honey, malty, belgian yeast. Flavour is sweet and floral. Honey and belgian yeast again. Fruity. Some hoppy notes, but there’s really not too much hops here anymore. Could be the age of course. Medium long aftertaste.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle (Zmogsala2015, Vilnius)
Nice fresh aroma. Light caramelly malts, citrussy and fruity hops. Crisp palate. Nice hops give a peppery finish. Not seeing the "belgisk" in this, as presumably american hops are dominating. Use of "Belgian Ale Yeast Number 7" does not magically make your beer a Belgian Ale.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Medium, dense, light-yellowish head over clear-copper beer, lazily carbonated. Catty, Valerian-like hops prominent in the nose (Belgisk??), dusty citrus, grapefruit,,.. (Belgisk??) More, quite resiny hops, citruspeel, grapefruit, finish being wry-bitter, even metallic (Belgisk??). Bitter dried apricots. Quite slick, feels rather well-bodied. I get it, now. Belgisk must be Bokmal for American. Good beer, though.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
pours hazy medium dark golden orange with a nice reviving light beige-orange head, nice lacing. spicy fresh oranges, their leaves, other flowery citrus including orange blossom, peppery apricots, peaches and danky mangoes, soft pine needles, woodsy vanilla, very nice spicy yeast carrying low-fi phénols, lean pale lightly spicy maltiness - giving way for yeast and hops to express fully. lively carbonation - just slightly foamy though, light to medium body - oily; balanced grassy-spicy-citrusy finish. great yeast action, soft and very nice use of american C hops. very well crafted.
