25th Spetember 2010. Borefts Beer Festival II.
Opaque black beer. Massive creamy head. Sweet dark malt. Lightly spiced and pleasantly so. Not bitter or dry. Crisp palate. Very drinkable spiced beer. All too often the spice is overdone - here it enhances.

Bottle @ Denmark/Norway Tasting @ Ulfborg 2011. Courtesy of Fonefan. Pours dark brown with a small creamy beige head and lacings. Nose is spices. Cardemum, cinnamon and berries with a vague roasted note beneath. Flavor likewise. Not a fan of those devilish spices but they are well integrated. Roasted dry end. Smooth.
