23-JUL-2009, Bottle. Batch 190509/90 #007. Cloudy brown with low off-white head. Nice coffee, roasted nose, quite complex. Sweet coffee and berries, a little watery but with OK length. Well crafted, one of the best in the style.

0.5 l bottle at Petalax Beer Festival 2010. Reddish brown color. Nutty and caramelly aroma. The flavors of nuts, caramel, malt husks and toffee. Low bitternes. Does not taste very fresh.

Clear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, light nutty, light hoppy, vintage. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dusty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100703]

Bottle at ChrisO’s Back in the UK tasting, 22nd May 2010. Dirty, murky brown colour. Sugary malt with a bit of cold tea flavour. Really not very good, feels oxidised.

Brown coloured and hazy. Has an off-white head, mostly lasting. Aroma is sweet, caramel, toasted notes too. Yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet, finish nice bitter.
