Bottle from Cork & Barrel. Pours black with a thin khaki head. Has some bitter hoppiness on the nose. Not getting much coffee on the tongue. Finish lingers a bit. Eh!

Quite a strong taste, a hint of Vegemite. It grows on you. Not amazing but not bad.

Bottle (500 ml). From dresden, thanks! Hazy brown with a light beige head and little lacing. Aroma is of strong coffee, light vegetables, milk chocolate and light spices. Taste is slightly sweet with coffee, vegetables, milk chocolate, light spices and light bitterness. Light to medium body. Silky mouthfeel. Moderate carbonation. Balance is average at best. Too much green/vegetables notes. Subpar Porter.

Pours nearly black with a thick, foamy, tan head. Nose is coffee ice cream with a hint of yeast. Taste is sweet up front with bitterness back. Creamy mouthfeel; medium body. Very nice brew! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle (6% ABV). An almost opaque black beer, with a huge, frothy/creamy, lightly lacing, mostly lasting light brown head. The aroma is heavily malty (very strong coffee, roasted grain/nuts, caramel, hint of chocolate), with notes of vanilla and licorice. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation, long finish with moderate bitterness, lightly alcoholic. Superor coffee porter. Awesome creamy mouthfeel, and great coffee driven nose. Good balance. At Hanndbryggeriet they know how they brew their stuff.

Thin pouring black beer with a small tan head, very low carbonation. Aroma of a nice cup of coffee, with some dark chocolate. Taste is sweet sugary coffee, some dark cocoa. Body is thin and undercarbed, feels weird...nice and creamy though. Interesting beer for sure.
