pitch dark, smooth light brown head roasted malts, dry aroma flavor is sourish, tart, roasted malts, sourish stoutish flavor.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy brown with a small frothy beige head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is wood and roasted malt. Medoum mouthfeel with a light roasted malt and tartness in the finish. Very good

Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Valkendorfsgate, Bergen. Dark brown near-black body with a small khaki-colored head. Nose is dark, pungent and intriguing: wood, bretty horseblanket tones, red wine, juniper berries, leather, cinnamon, vanilla, hints of licorice and herbs. Very "Jolly Pumpkin"-ish, but with a couple of extra layers of complexity. Taste is juniper, wood, ashes, red wine, tart berries, horsey stable tones, licorice, hints of leather and smoke far in the back. Full body, medium carbonation. Luscious and tantalizing, this is a complex sipper with a great deal of balance. Definitely one of the best one-offs from Haandbryggeriet so far in my opinion. A real treat.

Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a dark brown black color with a small off-white head. Has a slightly roasted malty woody dark fruity vinous aroma. Slightly roasted malty woody tart caramel and dark fruit flavor. has a roasted malty woody dark fruit finish.

Botella. Deep dark brown colour. Fruity sweet dark malty woody tart aroma. Good mouthfeel. Fruity dark malty tart woody flavour, very nice.

Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Black - brown head. Sourish, red berries, rubber, roasted, oakey, some tartness, light milkey, wooden, nutty, some light bitter burned notes, tarmac, fruity notes.

Bottle at Papsø. Black coloured with a small beige head. Sweet and light acidic aroma of berries and red wine. Light acidic flavour of berries and red wine. Tart finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity, cherry and light wooden. Mild sulphorish. Cherries, sweet malty and mild citric. Smooth and lingering cherry fruity finish.

Bottled. Deep burgundy coloured. Dense light brown head. Aroma: berries, sourness, spice, Flavour: Berries, sourness, fruits, Medium bodied. Ends light sour.

Bottled. A black beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of wood, brettanomyces, alcohol, caramel, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of brettanomyces, lemons, roasted malt, and wood, leading to a tart finish.
