50 cl bottle.

Pours murky brown color with a medium off-white head. Aroma of dark toasted malts, wheat, ripe fruits, caramel and some chocolate notes. Flavor of roasted malts, caramel, some dry chocolate, mild wheat and yeast. A bit weird mix but it works. Excellent.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 BeerBeCue (62) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 15, 2013
1PT .9FL oz bottle aged for about a year, poured into snifter. Pours a deep, opaque, used motor-oil-like black (WONDERFUL) with a minimal deep-brown head. Aroma is a complex blend of milk chocolate, vanilla, liquorice and roasted/burnt malts. Taste is medium-high sweet and just a tiny, so tiny bit acidic. Mouthfeel is velvety-smooth, body is rather medium-full. Carbonation is pretty low, but this is what I was expecting. Finish is rather long and roasty, which I find to be really enjoyable. Some malt can still even be perceived! Overall: aroma here is some serious WOW-factor. H*ll the brew altogether is a wow-factor! I am simply blown away. This is my first Haandbryggeriet and certainly not the last. May the dark force be with you (pun seriously intended).
