COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Double" (imperial) wheat stout.
This imperial really strikes back. From a strange country far, far away, comes the only Imperial Wheat Stout in the known universe. Once again, the ’Hand’ brewery - four guys brewing in their spare time, on an absurdly small scale - boldly goes where no brewery has gone before.

Pitch black appearance with little head. Complex tastes of milk chocolate, sweet, roasted malt, coffee, some caramel, nuts and vanilla. Full body, a fair amount of carbonation and a lasting aftertaste of wheat and milk chocolate. Fantastic double wheat stout.

kindly given by jaghana (7/14), thanks a lot; bb 2/2016 and brewed 2 years and 8 months ago; more weizendoppelbock than imp stout nose: dried, sweet pears, some honey, and, presumably due to age, a strong Red Martini centre on dense whafts of butterscotch. Age also seems to have somewhat disintegrated this Wheat Stout’s taste components. Result: the impression of drinking some heavier white wine like Muscadet after having eaten bitter chocolate and a bit of licorice. Weak coffee roast aftertaste; not bad, though. A lot of alcohol heat. Winelike. Worth a younger revisit.

Bottle. Pitch black in colour, small beige head. Aroma of roasted malts and lots of cherries and plums. Softly carbonated, very smooth. Full bodied, rather sweet in the finish. Very good.

Nice and very perfect tan foam that rises to their Dark Force, which also bears the subtitle Double Extreme Imperial Wheat Stout. Clear notes of wheat malt rises from the glass and mixes deliciously with hints of coffee. Tastes deep and long coffee / mocha with English licorice. Wheat malt adds a comfortable sweetness and freshness which is in an almost too perfect relief to the aforementioned heavier tasting notes.
