COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Double" (imperial) wheat stout.
This imperial really strikes back. From a strange country far, far away, comes the only Imperial Wheat Stout in the known universe. Once again, the ’Hand’ brewery - four guys brewing in their spare time, on an absurdly small scale - boldly goes where no brewery has gone before.

Idiots call this " Double extreme imperial stout" a bit redundant. It is a great brew though, heavy on smoke, peat, salt, minerals, and a hint of metal.

Medium konsistens.

Pitch black color, dark brown head that doesn’t last more than for a while. Marked aromas to roasted coffee, espresso and burnt malts. Flavors: coffee, liquorice, some spicy notes and black fruits. I can’t distinguish the wheat. Medium development, not a dry finish, medium to full bodied. Nice beer.

Bottle shared thanks to thebsmitty! Pours an opaque black with dissipating tan head. Aroma is heavy booze with roasted malt and slight dry wheat. Taste follows, less of the booze and more of the roast. Not bad, a little thin but definitely tasty.

Bottle. Pours black with big dark tan head. Smell is not much.. A bit of chocolate malt, burnt coffee. Taste is sweet chocolate, cocoa, espresso, with caramelized banana, hint of creamy marshmallow and hint of caramel finish. Low medium carbonation, a bit oily. Love this.

Pours a deep dark black color with light tan head. Dark, roasty, malty, grainy, chocolately aroma. Big roasty, chocolate flavor as well. Very tasty.

Bottle shared at the Animal Bar, Madrid, November 2013. Black, opaque with a mocha colour head. Slightly peaty, dry ash and prunes in the nose, smoky, bitter, ashtray dryness in the mouth. Full bodied, carbonated, slightly dry and ashy finish.
