"Double" (imperial) wheat stout.
This imperial really strikes back. From a strange country far, far away, comes the only Imperial Wheat Stout in the known universe. Once again, the ’Hand’ brewery - four guys brewing in their spare time, on an absurdly small scale - boldly goes where no brewery has gone before.

pours very dark brown, almost black, with a creamy beige head, good retention and lacing. chocolate and lightly smoked malts, burnt toasts, some milk chocolate, some dark and spicy fruitiness - dark cherries and berries, some burnt malts and fruits, pine and resin, coffee, ashy dustiness - not the harsh type, some sweetness - burnt molasses under control. average carbonation - slightly foamy but settles quickly, fortunately, medium to full body - oily, boozy, bold grassy-spicy-peppery-piney finish. enjoyed!

Bottle: Pours purple/black with a dark brown head. Strong dark fruit, chocolate aroma. Oatmeal, chocolate, raisin flavour. Roasty, yet very sweet. Not exactly a typical Imperial, but really nice tasting and rich. Heavy fruit, blackberry cobbler taste increases as it warms.... Delicious.
