"Double" (imperial) wheat stout.
This imperial really strikes back. From a strange country far, far away, comes the only Imperial Wheat Stout in the known universe. Once again, the ’Hand’ brewery - four guys brewing in their spare time, on an absurdly small scale - boldly goes where no brewery has gone before.

Aroma is dark grainy with a hint of plum or grape. The taste is cocoa and sweet slightly sour fruit. Finish is dry with a slight mixture of bitter, fruit and sweet mixed in. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Black beer with bronze head. Huge carbonization, I think it’s too much for Imperial Stout. In aroma some champagne tones, chocolate and that’s all. Poor aroma. Taste is also faint. I feel like drinking cheap champagne-type wine, very dry, sour, maybe it’s infected?

Bottle at home. 3 year old. The colour is pitch black and has a light brown, huge head. Coffee in the aroma along with smoke, dark chocolate, campfire, forest floor and brownies. The flavour follows up but has more rostedness, coffee and burned wood. Has a slick and rich mouth feel, and a light to medium bitterness. A fantastic complex and compact flavour in this imperial stout. Balanced and with a nice smokey touch.

Imperial stout molto imponente e dal gusto carico di note differenti che vanno dal cioccolato alla liquirizia, con una sfumatura citrica molto intrigante, caffé, malti tostati e una presenza alcolica docile e bilanciata. Buonissima!

Drought. Very dark brown with small creamy dark tan head that dissipates quickly, cherry-chocolate aroma, low carbonation, sweetish cherry taste mixed with bitter mocha, ending with an unfortunate cough syrup flavor. I am not very much impressed with this.

An interesting but ok tasting beer. Pours a beautiful deep black with a thick tan head. Smells like cherry cough syrup, not too good. Taste is very different, coffee and cream. Quite smooth. Had in the bottle.

Dark brown pour orange brown head. Aroma of berries, roasts, hay. Tastes smokey, lactic, char, some wheat, but not that much. Light sharp effervescence. Buttery vineous mouthfeel.
