COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dobbel Dose or Dobbel Dram is a double IPA made with european style hops rather than US hops. This beer is also heavily dryhopped in the aging tank for the extra hop taste and aroma.
9% alc. 82 ibu and 22 ebc. Made from Maris Otter malt, wheat malt and Crystal.
Serve at 10-12C or 50-55F. Goes well with spicy food and grilled meat. American Bottle Label -- "Double Dram" is made with more of everything, including all the hops the Hand Brewery’s tiny brew-kettle can take. Feisty American hops for bittering are followed by noble Fuggles and Styrian Goldings for a spicy, flowery aroma. As tradition dictates, this is an exceptionally hardy brew, made to weather the long, hard ocean voyage to anywhere...

500ml bottle from Vinmonopolet. Big frothy tan head. Clear light amber body. Aroma of malt, smoked wood and vanilla. The hops are not too present on the nose. Light bitterness which is felt mostly on the palate. Slightly sweet. Boozy aftertaste.

Bardzo dobre tresciwe slodowosci mnostwo, piana niestety srednia. Aromat chmielno trawiasty. Kolor przybrudzonej szarej pomaranczy.

(Jomfruland, 01.05.14)

Bottle from Hop City, Atlanta. Pours a cloudy brown orange, decent amount of off white head. Aroma surprisingly yeast forward, resin and caramel notes. Body medium lively, finish somewhat vegetal, like a green algae or something. Really nice.

Kobberfarget med offwhite skum. Lukter godt humle, appelsin og sitrus. Medium kullsyre og god lang bitter i ettersmak. God!

Nice and potent imperial from Norway, bottle from Brewer’s Haven. Cloudy orange/amber in color with lasting creamy, but stiff, head. Hops in the aroma, but even more so in the taste. What a kick! Surprisingly smooth, but with a punch and touch of alcohol warmth.
