COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Haandbryggeriet version of Vuur & Vlam.

Fyr og Flamme is a dry hopped IPA in the US style with an exceptional aroma and hop flavours. We use a very special blend of 3 American hops that produce lots of hop flavours. We produce living beer, not pasteurised or filtered.

500 ml bottle @ Melkebaren, Sandnes. Hazy, deep amber body with a big, creamy off-white head. Nice and strong aroma of citric fruit, pine and some grass with caramel. Flavor is quite citric fruity, pine and bitter on and pleasant malt/caramel base. Fine body and a really long aftertaste with fruit and bitterness. High class IPA.

Tap in copenhagen, pour is a nice dark reddish, smell is very hoppy, the taste is a nice bitterness with a good blend of malts and hops, very drinkable

draft at Lionís Pride, Maine. orange golden pour with sizable fluffy, cloud like white head. Peanut shells, diminishing hops, orange marmalade, mild citrus notes. Decent flavor, milder bitterness, seems slightly dated

Pours amber colour with and average size creamy tan head. Great and powerful fruity aroma with some malts and dough. Medium sweetness, light to medium bitterness, nutty and malty notes. It would be nicer a bit more bitterness. Medium body, oily feel, average to soft carbonation, and a mid-bitter spiced and dry finish. Ok.

On tap at the Bishops Arms in Copenhagen. Dark orange with a large white head. This is one of the most unique smelling beers I have ever smelled. Very sweet, citrus, oranges, mangos, pineapple, pine needles and banana both in the aroma and flavour. Thin body that works well with the hops. Smooth, creamy finish. Fantastic.

Draft. Rich amber beer with a dark cream colored head. Sweet malt and light grapefruit aroma. Sweet malt and caramel flavor with light earth and very light citrus. Medium bodied. Low bitterness. Sweet malt and caramel lingers with light earth and light citrus.

Bottle 500ml. Masterpiece, with great balance. Aromas of butter, caramel, and hints of grass. Taste starts sweet, with bitterness taking over for a very long finish. Palate is creamy, and full bodied. Amber, with a frothy head.

(12oz bottle thanks to bu11zeye) clear amber with effervescent bubbles and a creamy tan head. Nose of candied citrus, rye, and rice. Taste of rye, candied citrus, nice balance. Dry finish, thatís quite carbonated and spicy on the palate.

Dark gold / light orange color. In my opinion it differs from other íVuur&Vlammení mostly because the grapefruitsmell and -taste are completely hidden, I smell and taste more resin. Itís gotten rounder somehow, lost itís sharp edges which in this case is not a good thing. Still a nice beer, but other versions are better I think.
