The Haandbryggeriet version of Vuur & Vlam.

Fyr og Flamme is a dry hopped IPA in the US style with an exceptional aroma and hop flavours. We use a very special blend of 3 American hops that produce lots of hop flavours. We produce living beer, not pasteurised or filtered.

Bottle, shared with Parksy. Nearly a gusher, very hazy orange. Sweet orange hop character with annoying plastic undertones. Between the overcarbonation and the annoying plastic-like trait killed this for me.

Bottle in garden 8th August 2015. Fairly dark for an IPA. Aroma is good, not as much as promised perhaps. Taste is full, pine, floral, citrus. Pretty tasty and enjoyable

Was really impressed with this IPA. Powerful and pungent. Lots of pine resin and citrus character. Orange and grass, some pineapple at the end. Tried on my trip through the Lofotens in 2015.

Bottle. Sensoric. Golden, medium hazy with medium, white, semi-densed head. Aroma is fresh, citrus (mainly orange), tropical fruits. Taste is medium to high bitter, hoppy with some malty biscuity sweetness. Medium to full body, creamy texture, average carbonation, finish is semi-dry, and medium bitter.

Dość typowy dla norwegów aromat żywicy i słodkich owoców tropikalnych z cytrusowym muśnięciem. Piana ogromna (nieomal lekki gushing) i trwała. Ładna złota barwa. W smaku bardzo wytrawne, owocowe z fajną, mocną grejpfrutową goryczką. Bardzo udana IPA z haandbryggeriet.

Bottle. Pours cloudy golden with big white head. Aroma is fresh and hoppy, slight soapy, citrus fruits, grapefruit, orange peel, some peach candy and pineapple, slight grass. Taste has peach and pineapple at first, then exotic fruits and turns more bitter and piney. Some grapefruit and subtle soapy notes, the good way. Easy drinkable and dry crisp finish. Medium body and average carbonation. More yeasty as it warms.

Bottle thanks to Magnus. Pours an almost clear amber with a big, white head. Aroma has lots of hops, citrus fruit, pear, mango, citra hops. Taste has lots of citrus zest, bitter and slight tart notes, malty sweetness. Pretty fresh, and very easy drinking. Slight soapy. Average carb and a smooth body. Not bad!
