The Haandbryggeriet version of Vuur & Vlam.

Fyr og Flamme is a dry hopped IPA in the US style with an exceptional aroma and hop flavours. We use a very special blend of 3 American hops that produce lots of hop flavours. We produce living beer, not pasteurised or filtered.

Citrus and pine, some roasted aromas. Taste matches the smell. Nice malt and hops balance, almost a 1.5 ipa (half way between ipa and double ipa). Will have to try the de molen version

Bottle, batch #905. Aroma is orange, grapefruit, citrus, orange zest, hints of pine, some floral notes. Deep golden, hazy, nice off white head. Medium sweetness, medium bitter, taste is orange, grapefruit, lime, small but firm malty backbone. Medium body, medium carbonation, long medium bitter finish. Very nice ipa, good balance.

Maybe a bit old, but I’d hoped for more depth of flavor. Certainly not a bad IPA.

Tap@Tap10, Copenhagen - burnished golden Amber pour with nice white head and lacing. Aroma and taste is citric fruity, some nice tangerine, orange peel, citric spice, sweet malty, herbal and piney hoppy action, good stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy orange with almost no gas and no head. Aroma has some syrupy fruits. Flavour too. Orange peel citrus bitterness.

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. Hazy amber coloured with a slight orange and peppery hop flavour with warming toffee and a slightly spicy finish. This tastes more like an English style IPA to me, but still very good.

Bottle. Tall Boys, Leeds. Hazy, dark, orangey amber. Messy, sticky, cream coloured head. Not convinced this is as intended. I don’t get grapefruit hop like other raters have. This has vinous and apple peel notes. Taste has some tartness. No. Not right this.

På fat. Svag tropisk fruktkänsla i doften med citrusinslag. Smaken till en början trevlig o balanserad för att mot slutet slå över i en ganska vass o otrevlig beska. Ändå en hyfsad Ipa.

Unclear deep golden color with a nice off white head. Ok lacing down the sides of the glass. Good intensity in the aroma with a lot of grapefruit and tropical fruit. Medium + body and a fine carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Tasty stuff this. Lots of grapefruit, pine mild tropical and a fine malty back. Solid stuff.
[Bottle from Vinmnopolet Torvbyen in Fredrikstad, Norway]
