COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Good Force is the sister brew to Dark Force, but Good Force is a friendly brew. This is a powerful imperial wheat beer flavoured with chamomile flowers.

500ml bottle. Unlike the simple black and white label this beer is anything but simple. From the hazy orange colour to nthe rocky crown of dirty white foam to the bubblegum, clove snd fruit aromas this beer screams quality. Velvet in the mouth, it carries the high alcohol content well. May the force be with you.

Tap at Paradiso Georgetown. Sounds like a recipe for disaster: Imperial Wheat Beer from Norway. I almost vomited from Nogne Oís Imperial Dunkel Wit. This poured a hazy light orange with a baby, white head. Spots of lace. Not looking so hot. Aroma is out of this world- WTF? Giant tangerine, peach cobbler, smoked meat, cooked peaches, mace. Taste is incredibly intense: spicy alcohol, insanely rich and creamy body, sharp booziness cut by an oily palate. Peach cobbler, tangerine, sweet oranges and brandy juxtaposed with smoked meats. So much power and energy. Just one of the best beers Iíve ever had no joke. I canít believe it.

Pours cloudy deep golden/orange with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, citrus, peach and alcohol. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long fruity and warm alcohol finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottled gift from OleR, thanks mate! Pours light hazy golden with a big stabile creamy white head. Sour wheaty aroma, belgian yeast, banana and barn besides some sweet malts, heavy that is. Taste is initially medium sweet dark fruity malty, raisins and plums, before a nice bitter, slightly pepperish/ginger feel take over and saves this brew from beeing just sweet. Nice lingering herbal end. Moderate sticky mouthfeel. Another good brew from Drammen.

0.5l bottle from Valken, Bergen. Pours a hazy darkish golden body, with a solid wheat-head. I get some yeast, sweet banana and bacon! Strange.. Medium to full-bodied with low carbonation. Nice warming alcohol not well hidden but really nice, some chocolate hints and orange peel. Must admit that Iím not sure how chamomile tastes, but Iím sure the strange flowery taste is just that. Refreshing and a bit different wheat ale because of the quite clear sweet alcohol notes. Want more of this!

Draft. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is great: peaches, citrus, chamomile, bananas, some floral notes. Taste is very soft , creamy, and sweet with a bit of booziness. Still very good. I could put these down as easily as any wheat beer (and get drunk a lot faster).

50 cl bottle @ Gasropub Nordic. Rated on 03.04.2011
Aroma is rather rich with belgian yeast, fruits and wheat Ė feels very belgian and kind of reminds me of finnish home-made mead. Flavour is tripel-like with soapy citrus and spices. Rich, refreshing and nice.

UPDATED: NOV 14, 2010 Bottle at Cardinal. A nice-looking orangey golden beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is rather unusual, very flowery, but with an underlying wheat, fruit and hops scent coming stronger as it warms. Some spices and alcohol too. Itís full-bodied and warming in the mouth, quite sweetish, but with a good bitterness. The malty sweetness is almost balanced by the bitterness and spiced touch. Canned fruits, white sugar, flowers, and wheat too, all the way. The alcohol is evident too. Well, itís nice, but to say itís a friendly one might be pushing it. Not that it is rude, but it is quite intense. Like it. 101113

A strong wheat beer that reminds me of sahti.
