This beer was brewed in sept. 06 and has since then been aged in oak barrels until bottling on March 22. 2008. The beer is blended for roundness but is still very sour and a little bit acetic. We think our first attempt has been a great success and we will definitely try this again.

500ml bottle. Pours brown to dark red-brown with tiny beige head fading quickly and leaving no traces. Aroma is deep, musky, earthy with some red berries, cherries and a light sourness to it. Taste is very sour and acidic with earthy notes as well as some vague hints of red berries and sour cherries. Mouthfeel is light but very sour/acidic and rather dry, carbonation is almost non existant.

Svart. Skummlös. Luktar lite sur och mörka bär. Smakar som en suröl. Och surt och mörka bär.. Riktigt bra.

The beer pours a slightly hazy brownish red with a large light tan rapidly fading head. The aroma blends red wine vinegar, oak, cherries, molasses, and caramel malts, and the taste is quite sour, mildly acidic, and a touch sweet with a slightly acidic aftertaste with a hint of tart cherries. The palate fuses a lively carbonation, oily texture, and a medium body.

Reddish brown. Small head. Fizzy mouthfeel. Too sour. Acid accompanied by a gone-off flavor that you shouldn’t really pay for. Awful experience. No thanks.

14 mar 2015, tap. Dark ruby. Nose is sweet, balsamic, faintly tart. Thin body and mildly fizzy. Balsamic vinegar, slightly sweet, a bit tart. Nice. Balsamic is the biggest flavor but it isn’t as tart as I expected.
