This beer was brewed in sept. 06 and has since then been aged in oak barrels until bottling on March 22. 2008. The beer is blended for roundness but is still very sour and a little bit acetic. We think our first attempt has been a great success and we will definitely try this again.

Dark brown pour with a thin light brown head. Pleasant aroma of acetic acid, sourness, oak and mild fruits. Good flavor of sourness, acetic acid, oak and fruits (figs, cherries). The body is medium with a vinous texture and low carbonation. This is very interesting, although the carbonation could have been a tad more lively.

Poured from bottle to glass. Dark amber/brownish hue with tan head. Aroma is lactic, fig, toffee, acetic, slight funk, molasses. Mouthfeel is decent with medium light body and zesty carbonation. Taste is sweet throughout with a nice tartness in the following. Overall this was ok but reminded me a bit if Balsamic Vinegar.

Draft at Eulogy. Very dark brown clear pour with very little head. Strong dark sour. Some sweetness and smoke. Balsamic vinegar. Peat. Dark red and brown fruits. Dates. Plum pits. Chocolate nibs. Dried raspberries. Bing cherries. Burnt port wine barrels. Excellent but not as good as some of the other classic Haand beers.

Really disappointed in this beer. I had expected some sourness but this was really not to my taste, or others in the group

Fin duft av syrlige frukter. Mørk brun farge. Dekkende skum, heng langs kant. Syrlig fruktig smak som sitter.

Bottle from Sugaya. Very dark brown with orange tints, flat. Nose is vinegar, vanilla, yogurt, cherries, chocolate, wood. Very complex and deep. Very acidic and sour flavor, with big chocolate, cherry, plums, vanilla, less vinegar but some, cream. A bit overwhelmingly sour, but enjoyable.

Draught at 3 Små Rum, Göteborg, Sweden. Sampled on August 5, 2014.
Cloudy brown color, small to almost non existent head. Fresh, light acidic scent. Acidci mixed with dry cocoa taste. Thin mouthfeel, low bitterness. The acidity mixed with cocoa don’t work very well for me personally.
