3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Refrescante y asimilable. Bastante diferente a las habituales, aburrridas y empalagosas cervezas Lambic Fruit. Excelente maridaje con quesos Azules, Rochefort y Cabrales.
500ml bottle. ˝ Pint glass. Enjoyed on jul´12. Pours inviting to drink red ruby in color. Foggy with yeast & fruit in suspension. Wild yeast, acid berries & moderate maltiness to the nose. Increasing sourness at first sip slightly balanced by malty texture & subtle sweetness. Light body, soft carbonation. Funny champagne-like palate. Red currents, cranberries & grapefruit wedge hues in the middle provide a long, citric, tartar & high astringent finish. Refreshing, drinkable & quite different from boring & cloying regular Lambic fruit- style beers. Excellent pairing with Blue, Rochefort & Cabrales cheeses.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle:   Deep pinkish hued amber, dirty, sediment, moderate sudsy sandy head, spotty lacing.   Soft sour nose, woody, unripened berries, and shrubby.   Strong vinegar and acidic notes up front, slightly dry, woody, unripened berries, with a little earthen shrubbiness on the backside.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Soft finish.   Strong oak and tartness linger, along with unripened berries.   Shrubby, but decent!

Sour aroma and taste, as expected. A good sour beer, but perhaps too neutral and lacking personality.
