(bottle) pours a hazy deep ruby colour with no head. aroma of mint, thyme, cheesy funk and lactic acid, citrus fruits and brown sugar, beautifully herbal and funky. flavour is quite leathery, with lots of strawberries, brown sugar, gooseberries and bubble gum, big notes of coconut, christmas spices, butter and citrus fruits. medium-bodied with lively carbonation and a tart finish. awesome brew.

Flaska från DeMolens webshop. Drucken på Norgeprovning. Tydlig lambicdoft. Lambicsmaker, trä, syrliga äpplen, stall, men också tranbär, vinbär, skog, lite mjölig känsla in munnen, precis som tranbär kan kännas, snäll syra som ger stor plats åt bären. Riktigt god!

Bittersweet aromas of stewed fruits, oak and cranberries. Minimal barnyard funk adds depth and ripens up the fruit character. Ripe tropical fruit flavours upfront, durian, lychee and cranberry. Subdued brett character develops mid-palatte, storming in with sweat, rotting fruit and olive oil and finishing with a dank, lingering tartness. Slick and watery mouthfeel is the only complaint, overall an absolute cracker!!

Bottle @ ACBF 2012: clear deep red with no head, smell is actually quite sweet for its kind, I am getting candy & some syrup & hops, quite a lot of wood & some berries, taste strongly, slightly bitter wood (lots of if), vinous, sour but also some candy sweetness & touch sweeter sour berries, redcurrant, wild berries, lemon, hint bitterness in finish, dry almost touch sticky body, quite lovely, different than I expected but I was quite happy with it

Bottle at home (february 9, 2013) Hazy pink/orange with a thin off white lacing. A lot of fresh sweet and sour fruits like cranberries and lingonberry, wild yeast, lactic sourness and vanilla from the barrel. Fruity taste with slightly sweet red berries. Soft lambic taste. The fine oak and vanilla flavours fits really well. There is also an really pleasant ongoing bitterness. I like sours with not much carbonation like this!

Bottle. Red golden-orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma is cranberry, current, lingon berry, malt. flavour is sweet, sour, current, lingonberry, malt, hint of hop, yeast. Very nice beer.

It pours amber with a pink hue and decent off white/tan head on top. The aroma starts off a bit phenalyic and then a nice berry sweet tartness comes in to the nose in a pleasing way. The flavor is similar with nice wild yeast notes which are followed by light sweet and big tart flavors that I enjoy so much in for the style. The lambic yeast does well with the carbonated body.

Shared by Skyview, I think. Thanks Bob. Very good, and strong, yeast aroma, with vinegar. Flavor is sour and acidic. Some fruit and surprisingly smoked bacon in the flavor. Copper color, and sour finish. Very good beer.
