3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 chriso (7065) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 2, 2009
Bottle, courtesy fonefan, May 2008. Clean gold colour. Generous condition. Danish pilsner malt aroma - difficult to explain but hard to miss. Quite bitter. Guess this was a different version because I’m sure it said there were Cascade hops on the label - not very apparent though so I guess the quantity must have been small. Overall tasty if not entirely authentic.

50 cL bottle, v. 8, 180508-38/41 #428, 5.7%, named Lxxxx’s Læske. Pours coudyn to hazy orange with a small head. Dry hoppy and grassy aroma. Sweet malty, light fruity accent and a mild butterish touch although quite subdued compared to the solid grassy hops flavours. Light oily in flavour and texture. Mild caramel malt presence. Smooth and dry bitter finish with a mild herbal hops touch. Nice one.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Jukkabro (3473) - Tampere, FINLAND - APR 2, 2008
Yellow colored with slightly cloudy appearance. Medium sized yellow head. Hopped aroma with some weird sweet corny-buttery tone, also this spinachy-flowery yeastiness here present. Medium bodied. Flavor is not so sweet with fine American hops and some cardboard, aftertaste dries even more with fine flowers, butter and lemon. Well, rich flavored, still some unclean notes here.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Maria (8585) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAR 7, 2008
Version 7, Batch 21-280907-1 #130. Nice amber-golden with a lasting white head. The aroma is hoppy and malty. The flavour has a light sweetness, a light citrussy bitterness, that ends rather dry and grows more bitter (and more grapefruit) in the finish. The malt is subdued, but it’s there all the time - it’s a really nice pilsner with a perfect name!
