COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is our new X-mas beer for the coming season. Milder and less powerful roasty taste than Nissefar. More maltiness from the crystal malts and more fruity taste from lots of aroma hops, incl a hard to describe taste from our secret ingredient.

Bottle enjoyed at home from batch #404, 2011 edition
Pours dark brown, almost black in glass, big dense tanned head. Very nice look. Smells of cloves, cinnamon, cardemomme, coffe and the typical aroma of Haandbryggeriet’s house yeast. Taste is malty, no sweetness whatsoever. I find gløgg tones and some dry fruits. Palate is dry but not as oily as it could be. Still quite nice. Finish has a very nice and powerful bitterness. But stil, i think the beer lacks a bit of balance to make it to highest scores out there

Bottle, bought @ Bunker Beer.
Serious gusher. Pours deep brown to black with a big, bubbly, beige head. Aroma has cherries, roasted malts, coriander, milky chocolate, cinnamon, a bit of bog myrtle. High carbonation, thinish mouthfeel with some dryness. Flavour is malty, chocolate, some cinnamon. Good malty and spicy dryness in the finish. Light warming finish. Okay, even if the high carbonation detracts.

Nice. The taste should be stronger, the alcohol adds sweetness nicely, but tastes through a bit too much.

Malziger und auch cremiger Antrunk, der leider etwas zu mild gehalten ist. Die Malzigkeit ist angenehm gesetzt und ausreichend aromatisch, wenig klebrig, cremig malzig, kaum süß, trocken. Nett. 7/8/9/9/8/8
