COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is our new X-mas beer for the coming season. Milder and less powerful roasty taste than Nissefar. More maltiness from the crystal malts and more fruity taste from lots of aroma hops, incl a hard to describe taste from our secret ingredient.

Bottled. Hazy dark brown with a huge fluffy beige foam. Sweet aroma of cocoa-powder, fudge and nuts with undertones of anise, cracker and spices. Malty nutty flavour with notes of licorice, spices, roasted malts, licorice and almond-paste. medoim bitter aftertaste of nut-shells and spices.

Brown copper with a nice, creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt and aroma hops. The flavour has a spicy sweetness with ntotes of roasted malt, fruit/citrus and a nice bitter finish. Nice and rather full-bodied. 1731

Beer4000 (4314) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 22, 2006
500ml bottle. Dark brown body with thick creamy beige head. Aroma of dry fruits, roasted malt and spices. Flavor is warming, sweet (malt, molasses) candy sugar and a hint of licorices. A bit over carbonated – fizzy palate. Aftertaste is relatively bitter and slightly roasted. Despite of many difference flavors this beer turns out a bit one dimensional. Don’t get me wrong, this is a great beer, but one bottle may be just to much for me at one time.

(50 cl bottle thanks to KnutAlbert) Smell is dark metal, smoke and rubber, roasted malt. Dark redbrown color, huge lasting creamy head. Strong spritzy mouthfeel. Burnt, smoke, tar taste, long burnt and rubber aftertaste. Medium bitterness.

Good! Roasted, but not burnt notes of malt. Nice fruitiness. A good old ale, but a bit astringent finish.

Christian (10778) - Odense, DENMARK - DEC 12, 2006
Hazy dark copper with a big (yeah, my bottle is overcarbonated too) off-white head. You can pick up some caramel malt, but it’s dominated by burned plastic sulphur aroma. Dry roast malt flavour with a bitter finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy orangey brown with a beige head. Lightly burned aroma. Medium body with notes of burned plastic and burned malt. A rather bitter finish, but the burned plastic tang reappears. Overly carbonated. 091206

Bottle. So carbonated that 2/3 of my glass is head and it lasts forever. Hazy brown. Aroma is caramel, hops and a bit metallic. The flavour is dominated by the high carbonation but I get some roasty and yeasty notes. Bitter finish.
