COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is our new X-mas beer for the coming season. Milder and less powerful roasty taste than Nissefar. More maltiness from the crystal malts and more fruity taste from lots of aroma hops, incl a hard to describe taste from our secret ingredient.

Bottle - batch 516. Dark dark red in color, with a medium brown head. The first thing that strikes me when I stick it up to the nose, is an intense smell of dishwashing-soap. Getting some weak hints of other aromas aswell, but this smell of soap masks everything else. The same weird smell appears in the taste. The fact that noone else mentioned this in their rating of the beer, makes me wonder if this is infected...

Black brown body with clear dark ruby tones, tan head, some spotty lacing. Aroma; mild malty character, herbs, floral hops, yule-nisse-mum’s been in the garden. Taste; spiced malts, dusty hops, more spices, leads to a herbal-floral finish with coffee and chocolate. Feels normal bodied, somewhat dry. Overall something for yule-nisse-mum to enjoy in the evening.

Pours a brown color producing a small, bubbly tan head. Malty aroma with hints of nuts and dough. Some faint liquorice and chocolate notes as well. Taste is malt driven with dark fruits on the flanks. Semi-sweet with a lightly bitter finish. Medium to medium-light bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle from Archive Beer Boutique April 2013. Quite a decent beer with a mixture of maltiness balanced with some fruit flavours.

500ml bottle. Dark ruby red colour with brownish beige head. Aroma has mild caramel malts, yeast and spizes. Flavour has no surprizes. Easy drinkable with christmas biscuits, but a bit watery.

Backlog fra Cardinals crazy juleølsmaking. Jeg ticket alle de øllene, men så at de da ikke kom med på Statistikk, så nå blir det sånn ca...

Pours a hazy brown, with a small dense tan head that leaves some lacing on the sides of the glass. Aromas are malty, burnt caramel, roasted grains, dark roast coffee, and resin. The taste is somewhat sweet, with a pretty dry finish. The mouthfeel is medium-heavy, with low carbonation. This is definitely Haand’s best Christmas beer.
