4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Big frothy beige head over handsome brown amber beer. Aromas offer restrained smoke and dark roast malt and more, complexity in some intensity. Medium bodied and lively on the palate, less sweet than suggested by the nose but with hints of sourness with the herby discreet bitterness. The finish is very refreshing and fairly long-lasting. Every Norwegian farm should still brew something like this.

Draft. Interesting smokey peat aroma with hints of alcohol. Unique beer, really exceptional; smokey flavors, with a slight dry/bitter essence. Very complex with each sip leading to different flavors. Excellent.
