3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Lyst, bittert uten å miste "rundheten", mye humle, og typisk engelsk malt.
Mye smak pakket i en flaske!

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at Amundsen in Oslo. Mostly clear amber copper with a soft white head. While the hops have some resin and fruit (orange and peach and such), the malt is grainy and coarse and has a smell of both fried breaking and ketchup / tomatoes, and there’s also a faint bit of metal / copper pennies in there. Vegetables and a bit of metal and some strange graininess. It has medium sweetness level, lingering hop oils and a sourish old toaster bread crumb finish. I feel bad rating this given Haand’s usually high quality, meaning I want to believe this is off, but it’s on tap and is seemingly fresh, just not to my tastes.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
50cl bottle, batch 646, brewed 2nd Sept. 2013, 4.5% abv. Bought at Eurospar Langnes, Tromsø.
Pine, peaches and grapefruit peel to the nose.
Off-white moderate head on an hazy dark amber body (ironically pale ale).
Tastes hops with malts and bread-like, with a little dry or mealy feel, and underlying bitterness. Some lemon hints too. Ends with roast, ash, pine, dark dark malt, a little half dry. Overall interesting and fresh, reminds me a little about english bitters.
