COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale Ale - is a pale, refreshing and aromatic beer with a fine malt profile from our English special malts. Generous use of fresh hops renders a zesty and delightful hoppy aroma and flavour. To be served at 8-10 degrees C. Bottle conditioned - unfiltered and unpasteurised, no artificial carbonation. (Not to be confused with the stronger Haandbryggeriet India Pale Ale.) Bottle - 500ml. Beautiful hazy amber body with a thin white foamy head. Enjoyable hoppy aroma with malty and grapefruit hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries citrusy and mango notes. Ends with a decent bitter finish. Good job!

07.06.2013, 0,5l bottle @ home: Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly fruity, wet grain, yeast, hay, herbs, caramel, grass, hints of dried fruits. Taste is slightly dry, hay, wet grain, hops, caramel, grass, herbs, yeast, dough. Slightly watery mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Fair enough, far from a favourite.

I love the hazy orange color almost as orange as the label. Too bitter for my wife means i get to drink this in peace, and for being a store bought beer in Norway it's pretty great.

En flaske (batch 577) i godstolen mens Vivaldi med Anne Sofie Mutter og Trondheimsolistene strømmer mot meg: raffinert vellyd i øret og skjerpende godsmak i ganen. En fin kveld!

500ml bottle at Rating Session 26.Oct.2011. Kindly shared by Rune. Thanks! Pours a copper coloured body with lasting foamy head. Hops, pineapple, orange peel and pine to the nose, also mirrored in the taste. A bit sticky, but still a pleasant experience.

A orange amber ale with a thin lacing mocha to brown head. In aroma, biscuit malt with floral and grassy British hops, decent. In mouth, a good biscuit malt with floral piney hops, decent.

500 ml bottle from Bieropholie, batch 443, BB 21.02.13. Deep amber with lots of flecks and a small light tan head. Honey and eucalyptus, odd minerals, light citrus, grainy and grassy, tired. Medium body and effervescence. Oddly grassy and vegetal, a not of honey and some resinous hops, light eucalyptus, not great; dry with pretty good bitterness and a not terrible toasty finish.

From 500 ml bottle. Pours a clear orange-amber with a lasting white head. Citrus, malt and noble hops on the nose. Taste shows lemon zest, light pine and some floral notes backed by toasty malt. Palate is surprisingly creamy for the light body. Good.
