COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Påskegodt - we on the brewery look at Easter as the start of the beer season of the bright time of the year. Påskegodt is therefore a beer that represents the transistion from Winter to Spring, a bright beer with a lot of the colour and taste of the bright part of the year.

Bottled. Hazy dark orange coloured. Soft fruity aroma and flavour. Some light bitterness in the finish. Rather light bodied. Low to medium carbonation level.

larsga (6120) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 6, 2006
Smallish white head over dark orange, almost brown, hazy body. Sweet malty aroma with citrusy hops and notes of pepper. Not very strong aroma. Sweet, malty, peppery taste with a background of roastiness and distinctive citrusy hop notes throughout. Citrusy, bitter aftertaste. Bitter, resiny taste lingers. Silky mouthfeel. Slightly watery body. A good easter brew. (Batch #28 on bottle.)

Jeppe (2631) - Ølbutikken, DENMARK - APR 6, 2006
Fine off-white head, milky orange body. Rather odd herby and yeasty aroma with a fruity middle, sharp and dusty. Flavor is fruity and hoppy with bready notes and a herby tone again. Reminds me of an English pale ale with its herby character. Drinkable, but not the best from Haandbryggeriet. Could use a little more body as well.

KnutAlbert (6007) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 6, 2006
Bottled, from Vinmonopolet. Cloudy brown apperance. Smells of ripe friut. Complex flavour, but with a bit too much yeas in the taste. Some ale aromas, some fruity taste and a sour note similar to a Belgian ale. I left this to settle for a few days, which was not enough. Rather large yeast sediment, too - most of this should have been left at the brewery. I will re-rate this in a month or so.

500ml bottle from Oslo City Vinmonopolet. Batch no.28 (bb.03/2008). Hazy Amber. Fair white head. Light hoppy aroma. Fresh orange in flavour. Palate is medium. Drying finish (01.04.2006)
