Reddish colour with a white head, good lasting and nice lacework, Aroma has notes of red fruits, acidic notes and fresh hops. Flavor is light sourish, very fruity predominating berries, cherries and red grapes, hints of wood and yeast with a medium bitterness and sweet hints. The final is a mix of cherries, berries, strawberries with a mild sourness and slightly dry mouthfeel.

500ml bottle. Pours a hazy crimson-tinted amber, with a moderate off-white head, which lasts well and leaves good lacing. Morello cherries, leathery funk and rye sourdough make up the aroma. Moderate sourness up front becomes a little stronger leading into the mid-palate, where it is joined by fruity black cherry. Leathery sourness and cherry make for an interesting finish, and there is a sour cherry aftertaste. This has a bit less depth and complexity than a lot of sour ales, but is still not too bad at all.

Fantastisk god fruktøl. Flott rød\rosa farge. Akkurat passe med kirsebær. Testet på Larvik mikrobryggeri.

Bottle, at Haand Festival. An unclear one, pouring a pinkish orange body under a small, white head. Lots of berries on the nose, surprisingly not only cherry, but also a generic berry touch. Some vinegar too. The flavor has a light sweetness, a faint touch of vinegar and most of all cherries. Astringent, dry mouthfeel, medium body fullness. Overall, a bit too vinegarish, even though there’s not much of it. Still it’s a nice beer, but I needed a couple of sips before I was able to really enjoy it. 130524

500 ml test bottle from the brewery. Brewed 23.0812. ABV is 7.5%. Red colour, moderate off-white head with a pinkish hue. Disappointing dusty and "off" aroma, weak cherries in the background. The flavour is better than the aroma, moderately sour wih cherries and cherry kernels, but not sweet. A hint of marzipan. Unexpectedly bitter finish.

500ml bottle @Cimmeria. Subtle tart, cherries aromas. pours reddish, hazy, with some off-white head, vanishing, some lacing. Light to medium body, average carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is cherries, berries, subtñe sour, some earthy flavours. More or less balanced, a bit resins, dry. Weird and enjoyable.

Pours a clear amber with a slightly pinkish head. Mellow aroma with cherries, light malts and a very subtle tartness. Taste is somewhat bitter with way too low fruityness. I’m also missing some more sour notes. Should probably have been dryer as well. Carbonation is medium to high and it feels nice on the palate.

A gusher. Wet living room table. Angry rater. Red, cloudy body with a creamy, light pink head. Strong aroma that is rather sour, acidic and tart. Cherries and cherries and cherries, with some funky notes. Light acidic and sour taste with a moderate bitterness in the finish. Moderate flavours of cherries and Belgian yeast. The funky notes are much weaker than in the aroma. Crisp mouthfeel, dry texture.

Red with a small white head - a solid, good sour aroma - a good berry flavoured body with a nice sourness - lingering sour berry finish - this was nice
