on tap at grunerløkka brygghus pours pale golden, white foamy head, nose is straight up soco and lime. Unmistakable. It is so intensely soco and lime I can not think of anything else. Taste is sort of fruitloopy breakfast cereal taste, it is definitely a one of a kind hop. Really intriguing but not one you can drink so much of. In my opinion. A bit flat in the mouthfeel and a bit of a yeasty bite.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Vika. (Old review from a closed down site 2011-02-09)
A good and fresh IPA from Haandbryggeriet. Good hoppy aroma with a bitter finish. Southern Cross seems to be my kind of hops - very nice. A bit to much taste of yeast for my taste, otherwise an excellent IPA.

Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, peaches, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruits, hops, straw, herbs, malt, and caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish. Thanks papsoe for sharing.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy and almost opaque golden with a small off-white head. Some fruity aromas with a phenollic touch. Medium body, a slow and steady gusher, a very dry fruitiness but unpleasant phenols dominate. Dry and hoppy finish. Far from impressive. 011211

Bottle, kindly donated by OleR. Thx a lot my dear friend. It starts it’s short life outside the bottle by rushing out at a much higher speed than I was meaning it to do, but when it settled in the glass a clear, golden body was topped by a foamy off-white head leavings some spotted lacework. There’s a lot of citrus on the nose, spruce as well, and a pleasant cellarish touch. The flavor isn’t as pronounced as the aroma, especially some more bitterness would be nice, but it’s a pleasant and tasteful beer anyway. Medium to full body and a nice carbonation, and the finish reveals spruce, citrus and bitterness. Overall, although a bit annoying at first, I’m a forgiving soul and soon decided I like it quite much. At a relatively low ABV it’s a beer I’d like to see available especially during summer, but here in Norway I guess that’s just a dream. 110311

Bottle 500ml.

Unclear medium orange color with a huge, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, light peach, brett notes, a bit funky ! Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, soapy, peel bitter - bretty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110319]
