50cl, bottled on 07/12/2011 bought at ACBF’12. Brune foncée, col épais / crémeux café au lait. Arôme léger fumé malté avec note de houblons frais et citronné. Bouquet malté grillé reste fin et agréable. En bouche, malt grillé/choco, léger fumé et houblonné, la fin de bouche conserve une approche légère de houblon pour un côté subtilement citronné.

Clear dark dark brown colour with many medium sized body particles, a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, sweet smoke, soot, old railway track sleepers. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, smoke, soot, railway track sleepers, wood - tar. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, smoke, berries and fruityness. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light bitter. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle at Patricks. Dark red brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is smoked, fruit, berries, malt, hop. Flavour is smoked, hop, roasted malt, berries , fruit. Nice beer.

Bottle in our quirky Oslo hotel. Opaque black - brown beer. Decent pale tan head. Fresh minerally dry palate. Dry dark malt, a little roast and a trace of bitter coffee. Smoke is pretty mild. Offset by nice but mild piney hops. Dry finish. Decent.

Thick, creamy cream-to-tan head, slightly irregular; nearly black beer; nice lacerings. Ashy, quite a bit phenolic nose, and C-hops, resiny; freshly cut carpet. Somehow melanoidin-rich smelling. Bitter, both roasted/burnt and hoppy. Black chocolate in the mouth, ashy retronasal; whilst the black chocolate returns in the aftertaste, together with the hopoils. Tad mineral too. Slightly burning MF, very carbonated; slick, viscous, thick body. Nice, seriously beefed-up dark I"P"A. Has quite some smoke beer features.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours an opaque black with a creamy and lacing beige head. Sweet roasty nose with a subtle smoky nose. Medium body, sweet heavy roastiness, a subttle whiff of citrusy hops - and then comes a heavy smokiness. Roasty bitter finish. Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Almost black with a brown head and floaties. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, moderate smoked wood and moderate hoppy. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 300312

Bottle @ FOneFan. very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, hops and smoke. Flavour is roasted malts, smoke, chocolate, coffee, meat, hops, little sweet and a medium bitter.

Botlle @ Fonefan tasting. Nice creamy tan head with good duration. Color is black with floaties. Aroma and taste are smoke, hops, roast malt and wood.
