Yeast residue lined the neck of our bottle. Funky through and through, especially in the nose. Tart, barnyard funkiness right off the bat. Citric. Reminds me of Tilquin up front. Oak dominates the midgame, finishes with a kiss of sweetness before turning sour again. I'm assuming this is Haand's first foray into the world of sours, and this is a damn fine effort if so. Wasn't sure what to expect here; ended up being pretty nice. Dunno why this is rated so poorly; granted, I'm a tough rater, but this deserves better than a 3.27 average.

Flaske 0,5l. Gave fra OleR. Tusen takk! Delt med Rune under sesjon i H9 8 Mai 13. Lys aprikosfarget. Uklar. Litt hissig. Middels skum. Nydelig lacing. God syrlig aroma. Stikkelsbær. Smaken er “lett” med et behagelig syrlig preg. Litt sedimenter.

500 ml bottle sampled in 2012. Orange golden body whiteout any head. Aroma is acidic, vinegar and hint of acetone. Flavor is actually sweet and sour, fruity, not much malt, not really bitter but very tart and almost harsh. Fine body and intense acidic aftertaste. This one is actually a bit too rough and unbalanced for me and normally I don’t have any problems with sour beers. Maybe need to try another bottle.
