Rating #1136 - 25.06.2014 - Beer sample from CBI - Pours a clear golden with a bubbly white head - high carbonation. Aroma - I associate with berries (gooseberry, wild blueberries) - mild pale malt. I’ve never ever heard of Sea Buckthorn at this point. Palate is more fruit - quite tart - some stores marketing this as a sour ale - doing so incorrectly. Finish is smooth - light in body for 7%. Not my bag - fruit wise - but well achieved.

Bottle at a big tasting (Nördprovning 2015). Fruity smell with sea-bucktorn. Lightly tart taste, fresh and fruity. Refreshing, low carbonation, light body. Easy to drink.

A bit of an oddball brew. Pours out hazy and muddy with a beige head a few fingers high. The nose has a heavy yeast and spice note with herbal and fruity notes. A bit of citrus and cracked pepper with mild caramel and toasted malts, almonds and a bit of a berry note. Not hoppy or overly bitter but a light aftertaste of belgian esque yeast lingers on. Overall an unusual beer I find difficult to classify.

Le croisement entre une blonde très très bonne et un magasin bio et tenue par des prof à la retraite vêtue de nippes en chanvre commerce équitable. bref une blonde très cool avec des arôme étranges.

Bottle. Head is initially large, frothy/fizzy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately yeasty (dough), with notes of lemon/lime zest, gum, mint. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, fizzy/lively carbonation, lightly to moderately alcoholic. Another generic, unremarkable sour/fruit beer from Haand. Aroma is kind of like a Belgian golden ale, and the doughy yeast is a bit strong. Ok flavor balance...quite tart but not super sour. Better than the Krekling, but still meh.

Bottle - Yeasty stone fruit and a sweet jammy nose. Clear gold with a nice white head. Light tartness, bright flavors of stone fruit and yeast. Fruity and sweet, with lots of Belgian yeasty character.

pours murky very pale golden with a creamy and almost frothy eggshell white, good retention and lacing. very fruity - cranberries and their astringency if not sea buckthorn, but also peaches, pale crackery wheat and malts, very floral and citrusy, belgian peppery and spicy yeast, other spices - cinnamon, cherry pith, salt and other minerals, woodsiness, lemon, tea leaves, very lightly tart fruitiness - citric perhaps. lively if not foamy carbonation, light body, dry and astringent grassy-peppery-spicy-herbal finish. enjoyed!

500 ml bottle. Pours a very cloudy, sediments-filled brownish orange with a resilient white head. Aroma is fruity. Flavor is fruity, wheat, with a touch of salt. Finish is dry, some fruity tartness. Orange and grapes...lingering tropical fruits and wheat flavors. Medium body, soft mouthfeel, average carbonation.
