COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Norwegian ale with cranberries and currants added. The Haand brewers - four guys making beer in their spare time, on an absurdly small scale - specialize in recreating old Norwegian farm beers. Here’s one made with a variety of different grains, and some typical fruits from the region, handpicked by the brewers. It is fermented by airborne wild yeast, unfiltered, and unpasteurized. Wild Thing, you make everything...groovy.

Bottled. The aroma has berries, light malts, some sourness coming through. Bit hazy, orange coloured beer with a thin lace. The taste is slightly sour, and quite fruity. Light-medium bodied.

On bottle at Haandbryggeriets opening party for their new facilities. Golden color , slightly pink tingle to it. Medium aroma intensity, fruity, berries, raspberries . Good sourness- well balanced. Enjoyable, but significantly less wild compared to its competitors when first released. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle purchased at Knightly Spirits in Orlando, Florida. Orange-amber in colour with a long lasting off-white head, excellent lacing. Aroma is of cigarette ash, musty, berry skins and leather. Flavour is musty with a bit of yeast, stale donuts, lots of berries, very dry, some straw. Musty mouthfeel, medium/light body, moderate carbonation. Finishes long, berries and quite dry. One of the weirder beers that I have ever had, so weird that I can’t help but like it...sort of.

Clear deep golden color with a smal white head. Sour fruity, acidic, berries and yeast. Inviting and complex aroma. Medium body. Nice balance between sourness/acidity and sweetness. Nice complexity and still mellow. Pleasant and easy to drink. Well for us who likes this stuff. Dry ending. Lots of berries, deep malt base and yeast. Nice one.
[Bottle at Verkstedet in Oslo, Norway. At a tasting with Buxton/Haandbryggeriet. Batch #730]

From a 50cl at Buxton/Haandbryggeriet tasting at Verkstedet, Oslo. Pours almost clear amber, it seems, with a rather small head. Fairly fruity aroma of red berries, hints of spices and hints of wild yeast. Moderate sweet and quite fruity with pleasantly sour notes. Medium body with fairly average carbonation. Easy to drink and enjoyable.

a touch funky, a touch earthy, with some cranberry shining through, but not like the Tyaettbaer(?) from Nogne O. This was decent, but not that one’s rival by any stretch.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. The look is golden in color, no head, and clear. The smell is fruit skins, grapes, very veggie like. The taste is a weird tartness, cherry, ashy, and off.
