It’s dark amber-golden with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of a little butter, caramel and malt. The same is found in the moderately sweet flavor with a slightly bitter/harsh finish.

The bottle looks simple, but good. The beer in the glass darker than exspected, small head. Starts strong and spicy, the finish is moldy-grasy, too sourish. Not my favourite!

bottle, Danke Frankenland! Clear golden colour, large white head. Predominantly malty with some nice aromatic hops. Clean and crisp.

(bottle) Clear, deep golden to light amber colour with a big and persistent foamy eggshell-coloured head. Light-sweet malty, grainy aroma with hay, a good dose of herbal hops and a light touch of barnyard. Bitter flavour with a slightly sweet background, light to medium bodied, crispy mouthfeel. Initially solid malty taste with upcoming herbal, spicy hops and a growing bitterness towards the lasting finish. Aromatic, well-rounded Export with Landbier character.

Only a faint apple and maltaroma. Slight hopbitterness in the flavor with some apple. Bland but clean beer.
