The bottle looks simple, but good, the beer in the glass is okay. Dusty aroma. Starts dry and well hopped, finish a bit spicy, modest sweet. Interesting pilsener!

Tap@brewpun. It’s warm golden with a creamy, white and lasting head. The aroma has notes of flower, straw and malt. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of light butterscotch, malt, flower and the finish is slightly dry. The butterscotch is quite unique in the harmonic flavor.

bottle, Dank an Frankenland! Clear golden yellow colour, mid-sized head. Hoppy nose. Light and clean, pleasantly hoppy on a good malty background. Lingering hoppy finish. Highly quaffable, not only because of the low to medium carbonation, that gives it a very very pleasant mouthfeel. Good.

pivnizub (7239) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - MAY 6, 2007
Bottle (purchased at the brewery): Golden coloured, lively carbonation, firm fluffy white head, superb aromatic "Saaz" aroma, rounded by some distinctive sweet-malt; moderate to strong bitter-sweet flavour, detectable sweet-malty base, light bodied; lingering hoppy-aromatic-sweetish finish. A superbly balanced spicy, tasty, aromatic Pils with many "Bohemian" qualities.........

MoritzF (7402) - Bochum, GERMANY - APR 19, 2007
UPDATED: MAY 5, 2007 (bottle) Clear, golden colour with a fluffy, slowly lacing foamy white head. Hay-like herbal and slightly grassy hop-aroma with a slightly sweet and bready maltiness with a touch of barnyard. Bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate, pleasant carbonation. Aromatic hops accentuation with a solid malty base; dry and herbal, lingering hoppy finish. Well-crafted, hearty Pilsener.

In the 0.5L bottle in Mannheim. Not too bad. Rich golden color with really nice lacing. The footed pilsner glass in which it was served displayed the brewery logo- nice. Somehow, this always makes the beer a little better. This was a little richer with a good bitter flavor of hallertau hops. Slight hay-like aroma from the first. Dry finish.

Malty aroma and flavor. Bit of a barnyard smell. Hopbitter and soapy. Average Bavarian pilsener with a strong bitter finish.
