2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 pivnizub (7239) - Bochum, Porúří, - JUN 20, 2007
Bottle (bought at the brewery): Hazy, golden, small firm, creamy head; fruity-estery and distinctive bitter nose; moderate to stronger bitter-dry flavour, a bit sourish, light- to medium bodied; lingering bitter flavour with signs of infection. Surely a good beer, especially when it is not infected..
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 Maria (8585) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUN 14, 2011
It’s hazy/unclear warm golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of old baking-yeast, fermented fruit and malt, but it does get less terrible after a little while. The flavour is light to moderately sweet with notes of fermented citrus, malt, and the finish is harsh and bitter with a little sweetness and notes of yeast. Clearly this bottle is not right.
2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Grima (1573) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - JAN 22, 2011
Light amber color with medium-pored head. Smells spicy grainyIt starts good spicy and very sour. The short-lasting aftertaste acidity harmonizes perfectly with the spicy flavors of this beer!
1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 oh6gdx (16047) - Vasa, FINLAND - OCT 25, 2007
Bottled. Deep orange colour with mediumsized, creamy off-white head. Aroma is really strange, very acidic saltwater along with grassyness. Flavour is saltwater, some mild malts, grassy hops and paper. Not very pleasant.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 TBone (9414) - Pori, FINLAND - OCT 7, 2007
Bottled
Hazy orange brown color, creamy off-white head. Cardboard, tobacco, light caramel in the nose. First impression is sourish, maybe beer is a bit infected. Papery malty flavors, some hops in the finsih. Interesting to see from other ratings that this beer has been infected in every rating.
1.1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 Tranquillity (1338) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - SEP 18, 2007
Bottle at the German beer festival at One Pint, Helsinki. Aroma of... puke! Taste salty. Hazy pale orange colour, small white head. Wow, what a bad beer.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 MoritzF (7402) - Bochum, GERMANY - JUN 17, 2007
(bottle) Hazy, orange colour with a fluffy, moderately persistent, slightly off-white foamy head. Yeasty slightly sweet and fruity (citrus, orange) aroma with a light herbal hoppy blend. Light sweet and faint bitter flavour, yeasty-fruity and soft malty taste with light herbal notes; light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation; medium-dry, yeasty and slightly fruity finish. Although the brew is labelled best before August 2007 a minor infection has already started, a matter of fact that demands a re-rate.
