3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 FatPhil (6210) - Tallinn, - SEP 26, 2007
500ml bottle. (One Pint, Helsinki, German Beer Days 2007)
Sweet aroma, but a sickly fermenting aroma rather than a simple sweet sticky one. Very dry woody taste, a bit fizzy. On flattening it becomes much drier and woodier - almost Alt. Sticky fermenting dark fruits come through as it warms.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Maria (8585) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAY 22, 2011
It’s hazy copper with a small, creamy head, and the aroma has notes of malt, caramel and light rubber. The flavour is light to moderately sweet with notes of caramel, malt, light citrus, and the finish is dry with a light sour touch.

Bottled, had at the German weeks at One Pint Pub in Helsinki, together with fatphil. Malty bit fruity aroma. Dark red/brown colour, small beige head. Very bitter, quite balanced.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 MoritzF (7402) - Bochum, GERMANY - JUN 17, 2007
(bottle) Hazy, brown colour with a fluffy, slightly tanned foamy head with lace. Dusty, slightly sweet and light-sourish toast-malty, nutty aroma with a touch of cacao and spicy hops. Medium-sweet flavour with a light acidity (possibly due to a minor infection), light to medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Slightly toasted malty taste with subtle fruity notes; sweet and slightly bitter finish with a light touch of herbal hops.

Bottle (purchased at the brewery): Hazy, light amber coloured, thin, lacing foamy layer, off-white coloured; light estery-fruity nose (possibly infected) with a grainy-malty touch; moderate sweet-malty, slightly bitter flavour with a sourish touch; light to medium-bodied; delicate bitter-sweet finish. No great pleasure, a second journey to Trebgast will be necessary.........
