COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Hachenburger Pils has won several awards from the "German Agricultural Association (DLG)", Frankfurt and Monde Selection, Brussels. That’s because it’s an outstanding quality beer, and the many medals that it won from the "German Agricultural Association" and at the Monde Selection international beer competition in Brussels are proof of this. Our strict quality policy, our adherence to traditional brewing methods and our high standards of ingredient selection are what makes Hachenburger Pils so wonderfully refreshing and smooth.

bottle, donated by pivnizub. Clear pale yellow, large white head. Hoppy nose. Shy but solid malty background, grassy-resiny hops on top. Light and elegant.

It smells fresh and has a golden-yellow colour with a fine pored creamy head-retention. It is refreshing. Fruity, very pleasant, fresh aromatic bitter-hops.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!

Test vom 12.5.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Appearance: Clear golden, nice white head. Aroma: Malt and hops, no surprise. Taste: Smooth, nice hops and malt. Slightly fruity. Refreshing. Info: 400ml draft, 11/6-2011

Koelschtrinker (7060) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 14, 2011
Mangelhaft. Test vom 26.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,8,8,3,6,5 - 5,75

Bügelverschlußflasche: Pale golden to golden, small foamy layer; dry grassy and cardboardy nose with a metallic tinge; light dry bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied as expected; short bitter-cardboardy finish. Nasty german Pils......
