The head is medium, the body dark-red and cloudy. It smells yeasty, hoppy, roasty, yeasty. The taste is roasty, fruity, aromatic, hoppy, good! 12/11/10/10/12/10

Bottle: Reddish-amber coloured, stable off-white foamy layer, solid hoppy and toasty nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, barely full bodied; lingering fruity-toasty finish with a light alcoholic touch. Not bad…

Weich herber Antrunk mit leichter Süße. Mild brotig, süßlich bleibend, hopfiger werdend. Harmonisch, malzig hopfig. Mild brotig, nett-nur zu teuer. 9/9/10/10/11/10

Idiosynkrasie (1853) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - DEC 7, 2012
750ml bottle. Cloudy amber colour with average to huge, firm, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Floral hoppy aroma with some fruity notes in the background, grapefruit, mango, also hints of red currant. Taste is minimally to moderately sweet, unspecific fruity, fruit acid, a dry note of fruit parings, later minmally toasty caramel malty notes appear in the background; also a dry note in the finish. Subtle sparkling carbonation. Nicely balanced brew that way better accentuates the unagressive, subtle notes of their self-cultivated hop than the IPA.
