0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Hazy brown color. The aromas of clove, overripe banana, vanilla and nutty malts. Hefty banana and clove flavor, sweetness balances bitter clovey spiness. Medium to full body, still drinkable. Strong banana and clove character, but not overboard. Good weizen.

Koelschtrinker (7060) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 14, 2011
Guter Start, schwaches Ende. Bottle: Hazy to cloudy, golden with an orangey sheen, mid-sized persistent loose off-white head, visible carbonation; yeasty-wheaty nose featuring ripe bananas; moderate sweet-sourish flavour, medium-bodied and smooth; distinctive tartness in the sweet yeasty finish. A pleasant, silky Weizen.....

Bottle. Cloudy orange-yellow, quite carbonated, huge off-white creamy head. Aroma hides beneath the head. Ripe oranges, banana base flavor, vanilla, light allspice. Fresh and well balanced. Sparkly, yet creamy mouthfeel. Pleasant fresh weissbier.

Bottle. Sweet banana/orange, clove and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy orange-tan color with giant tan head and moderate effervescence. Lightly sweet peach/banana and light wheat malt. Nice weizen - would be excellent if the malt flavor came out more.

[bottle--thanks, cgreb!] Sour wheat aroma with clove > bubblegum > banana. Hazy orangish-light brown. This weizen is of the refreshingly sour variety, with decent carbonation and a thirst-quencing wheat tang. Light body, medium to high carbonation, phenolic clove finish.
