Bottle at home. Dark brown with a fluffy light brown head. Aroma moderate/heavy malty (roasted, burnt, notes of smoke). Flavor moderate bitter. Light body. Thanks Rick Gordon!

Bottle at RBNAG 07. Red brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, coffee, caramel. Flavour is sweet, coffee, caramel, apple, malt, roasted. Ordinary beer.

500mL bottle birthday gift from Pwn3d. The body is dark dark brown. The aroma is malt and ome roastiness...you can smell the porter. The taste is again - some malt and roastiness.

500ml bottle @ RBNAG’07. Clear red/brown body with a medium beige head. Aroma is sweet malty and slightly roasted. Flavor is quite sweet, malty, some caramel and a hint of roastiness. A bit halfway there, everywhere or something.

Cold 25oz bottle: Pours a very dark brown color with moderate tan bubbles, mostly around edges. Aroma is of molasses, rich malts, fruit and chocolate notes. Taste is of rich malts, rich malts, subtle earthy hops and fruit (citrus?) very well blended. Medium bodied and smooth with low carbonation. Ending is of light molasses and coffee notes. Bottle: Dark brown with ruby highlights and a small tan head, sweet caramel and molasses in the aroma with a touch of orange, thin bodied with mellow carbonation, starts and ends lightly sweet with a chocolate ending. Tastes more like a dark lager than a porter.

Low greyish head. Dark brown color. Weak sweetish malt aroma with some distant whiffs of roast and smoke. Dry malty taste with vague coffee and cocoa notes. Unfresh and empty mouthfeel. Thin body. Short, dry and sourish finish. (Bottle @ RBNAG’07)

50 cl blue bottle. Almost black color. Disappering beige head. A bit sour,but drinkable. (RBNAG’07 in Grimstad Nov. 3th.)

Thin yellowish beige head. Dark reddish brown body, barely translucent. Sweetish soapy papery roasty aroma with perfumy mosquito spray notes. Dry acidic watery burnt taste with papery vinegar notes. Did not like this. (0.5l bottle at RBNAG’07.)

Cool looking bottle. This is my first Mexican porter. Aroma is big and roasted malt and the body is very dark almost black. Flavor and feel were both disappointing. Not much of either.
