Sampled on draught at the Hacienda Del Sol restaurant in downtown Duluth, MN. Pours a clear dark cola brown brew with a creamy off white head that has good retention and lacing. Aroma of roasted multi-grain bready-like malt, a hint of mild bitter hops and a touch of brown sugar. Taste is medium bodied, very lightly carbonated, smooth and creamy with a good balance of dark roasted malt and citrus hops. Finish is slightly watery, a touch of metalic with some dark roasted maltaftertaste flavor.

What a huge disappointment. No nose, no head. VERY thin flavors. I didn’t even finish the glass. Cool bottle though.

Dark as night, creamy white head. Smooth, creamy with a hint of spice and some bitterniss on the finish. Good, thick mouthfeel. Pretty nice.

Very deep brown color with a medium head. Light aroma that is a bit reminicent of well done meat. Simple taste of malts with a bitter finish. Not much here, but it’s a decent session.

Root beer dark amber red pour. Very nice super creamy thick head that hangs on. Aroma is thin sweet malt. Very rich deep malt flavors with strong caramel. A little watery and even. A little fruit and alcoholic. Good hops to balance, making a well rounded brew. Oats and grass in the finish. Light chocolate.
