Aroma muy suave, ligeramente dulce. sabor más bien alcohólico, sobre todo en el retrogustro. No me parece una doppel excesivamente reseńable. Hay mejores opciones, aunque se deja beber.

Many thanks for this beer to kevnic2008. Piwo o ladnej metnej barwie bursztynowo rubinowej, pianie sporej i kremowej choc szybko opadajacej.

500 ml swing top bottle poured a cloudy orange amber with a small lsting amber head. Aromas of caramel, fruitiness, light tobacco and a hint of yeast. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of caramel, earthiness, light fruitiness and light spice with a smooth lingering caramel finish.

500ml swing top - hazy light amber - thick, soapy lace - nose of cookie dough, dried cherries, raisin, brown sugar, fig - pretty pleasant, really - the flavor is not nearly as enjoyable - strongly present alcohol - malt character is kind of stale - texture is a little thin - some caramelized sugars, raisin, nuts - boozy finish - was hoping for more.

Clear slightly deep amber with a thin fading light tan head. Musty and toast-filled bock nose with some nuttiness and chewy caramelised wheat and more toast and crust. Basic bock flavors with some caramel, toast, German doughy nuttiness, and a smooth dry toffee-ish finish. Very color-inside-the-lines, but so dang well made I gotta give props. This is what every doppelbock strives to be.

Pours almost clear dark amber with copper red highlights and small dense head that reduces but contributes nice skim and lacing. Aroma is big roasted malt, with nuts and toffee. On the palate, more nuts, caramel, raisins and bread. But there’s an undercurrent of heat, which surfaces as nice peppery notes but an ethanol, vegetal oiliness that battles the rest of the flavor profile. One sip is smooth and sweetish, the next is hot and slightly sour. Overall, the good overcomes the bad, but it’s not as well put together as the best bocks.

Bottle at Hackerhaus Munich. Clear brown beer. Complex nutty malt aroma you can smell the strength. Strong abv flavour. Some heat some sting on the finish. It doesn’t mess around. Malt bread aroma. It has some toffee in the flavour. Long slow post lunch drink. Yes the peppery finish and solid shiny malts are good.
