3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Koelschtrinker (8619) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 14, 2011

Bottle (330ml): Golden coloured, creamy, stable head, visible carbonation; sweet pale malty nose, a bit bready and sorrounded by a faint floral hoppiness; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, light bodied, well detectable malty base, soft MF; sweet-malty, again, finish with a slightly lingering floral bitterness. A very decent Pils with some "bohemian" qualities.........

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Gorbalev (2827) - Ontario, CANADA - DEC 8, 2008
On tap at the Castle and Kind. Medium yellow, good sized white head. Some faint metallic notes in aroma, with some pleasing light hops and fresh light malt. Taste - again, a little metallic at first, followed by some nice hops and malt. Grassy. Really improves as it sits, hops came through nicely toward the middle of the glass. A decent quencher.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 Schroppfy (2353) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - OCT 6, 2010
Best before Feb 2011. Pours with a great head and lovely very bright golden color. My bottle says 4.9%. Aroma is soft white bread, slight flower and pepper spice, and a little vegetable matter. Body thin to medium, but I’ve had way thinner. Flavor has a very nice spice hop character to it, with loads of sourdough bread and hay. Delicious flavor, the rest is a little behind. Insanely drinkable after being thirsty, stuck on a train track between Warsaw and Lodz for an hour longer than expected...
