Sep 15, 2006 draught: bours dark brown, but it was not the best pour by the bartender. the head was minimal. Aroma was of sweet malt, slightly spicy with banana mixed in there. Flavor are a mirror of the aroma. Crisp however. medium body. Not overly heavy.

Sep 12, 2006 Very good dunkelweizen with light wheat and banana flavors. Very smooth, slightly roasted flavor. Good carbonation. Sweet up front and on the finish. Thick and chewy mouthfeel. Very enjoyable.

Sep 5, 2006 Nice Hefe aroma with hints of fruit and banana. A bit of malty backbone under an essentially very refeshing Weizen. A bit light palate however that is the intention.

Aug 30, 2006 12 oz bottle via trade with RegallacMC (thanks Paul).Pours a hazy copper color with a large foamy head that leaves a lot of chunky lace. Bready aroma with notes of orange, caramel and a bit of alcohol. Thin mouthfeel.Sweet wheat flavor with a crisp semi-dry finish and a bit of a fleeting wheat & bananna in the aftertaste.

Aug 23, 2006 bottle. Aroma: Caramel, toasted malt, vanilla, slight banana and a hint of nectarine. Appearance: Dark amber in color and slightly hazed. Head was light beige, full, and mousselike. Head lasted almost to the end of the glass. Nice lacing. Flavor: A subtle bready flavor, caramel, vanilla, and a touch of bubblegum. Banana and clove more prevalent in the flavor than the aroma. Flavor is pretty sweet right until the finish where a light sourness comes in. Palate: Medium bodied with a somewhat creamy texture. High carbonation. Finish was clean and had a slight crispness. Overall: This is a decent dunkelweizen that hits all the expected flavors. Could have had a little more banana/clove in the flavor and a little more richness in the mouthfeel.

Aug 17, 2006 17oz bottle-pours a light tan head with red color. Aroma is caramel malt. Taste is caramel medium malt, minor hops. Good carbonation.

Aug 16, 2006 From a 500 ml bottle. Poured amber brown with an enormous head that lasted seemingly forever. Very little nose and what there was a very nice malt, with a hint of sugar, bananas, and vanilla. Very nice mouthfeel and good flavor. Very nice to drink.

Jun 24, 2006 Murky brown. White head. Aroma is sweet and slightly chocolatey. Hints of brown sugar. No hop aroma noticeable. Taste is malty, creamy, and slightly bitter. Some honey and lots of wheat. Pretty smooth, and rather interesting. I like it. The dunkelweisse needs to be explored more.
