Nice head on this. Murky burgandy color. Dry lager aroma. Nice full body with good malty notes and some estery sweetness. Hints of wheat peeking through.

(tap) dark cloudy wheat with a full palate but a light finish, very drinakble, these dunkels are really starting to grow on me... crisp.

Nice aroma and flavor. A good dunkel but I can’t say its superior though I would definitely buy it again. Nice.

This is my first dark wheat so take my rating for what it is. This is an ok beer, but somewhat overatted.I tasted bananna, and it has good maltiness. This beer has an interesting cloudy brown apearance.

Nice aroma. Taste is like cinnamon, nutmeg, malt, and copper. Nice head, overall pretty good, but nothing I will probably ever buy again.

Bottle. Gold honey colored body with a very thick foamy head. Tastes slightly metallic and bananish. Very weird "basic" (in the pH sense) mouthfeel. Feels slimy. Wheaty and kinda sweet. The flavor is not bad, but that metallic taste isn’t pleasant.

I have not been a big fan of Dunkelweizens overall but had not tried this one before. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a medium brown color with a small brown head. The aroma was sweet wheat malt and a hint of lemon. The flavor was dark malt with strong wheat undertones and a bit of sourness. There is not much citrus in the flavor but there is a nice hop presence. Overall I liked this one quite a bit and will probably seek it out again.

Dunkel are the only wheats I enjoy...this one was a light brown color...smelled a little chocolatey...tasted like soap...very very sour and a soapy aftertaste...finish was complex and soapy...did I mention soap? Not a good example of something yummy...
