Rusty copper in colour with no head. The nose is lots of yeasty and wheaty with lots of grains. Same goes for the taste, it smells as it tastes. The yeast is just a bit harsh. But, whatever its not that bad I guess.

Copper with almost no head. Aroma spicy, wheaty, yeasty. Medium bodied. Flavor was passable. Another "lawnmower beer."

This was my first favorite beer. Smells so good. I love sour things: vinegar, pickles, yeasty sourdough. This beer is brilliantly sour. I am big on the olfactory senses. Beer looks watery and is watery but doesn’t taste watered down. It simply isn’t very cloudy...something I personally like in a wheat beer. On the tounge, it dissipates and is as carbonated as other wheats. Tastes very fruity. Catching hints of apricot and raisin...but really carbonated ones. Aftertaste is dry and refreshing. Good brew. better on tap than in the bottle in my opinion...a rarity from my mouth. Drink it!!!! G-rat

Not as flavorful as I thought it would be. Starts off with some nice traditional hefe flavors (sweet, yeasty spices and banana flavors) mixed with some roasted notes, caramel and chocolate, but after a few sips it seems to get more watery in flavor.

i think i’m developing a taste for this type of beer. but the appearance is still off putting. looks like cloudy bloody urine, and i know what that looks like. but it did pour a nice head. flavor was consistent with the usual banana undertones. maybe too bitter, but the lemon wedge really helps. it does finish sweet though so it is a nice combo in your mouth to start bitter and finish sweet. i can see how people can appreciate this, but its not yet my milieu. but it’s growing on me. i really want to like this beer.

(draft 10/04) Hazy copper body with long-retaining, creamy beige head. Aroma is mild/medium sweet, wheat, caramel. Taste is moderately sweet, wheat, caramel. Creamy medium body. Almost seems like it is on nitro. (5/4/6/4/12) (bottle 4/04) Humungous beige head atop a hazy, light copper body. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, lemon. Taste is mildly sweet, lemon, some caramel. Light body. (6/3/5/3/11)

This beer poured a murky brown color with a moderate head and left some lacing on the glass. The aroma was very wheaty/yeasty with some citrus - pretty good aroma for a weiss beer. The flavor was a smooth blend of citrus and the wheat. Very enjoyable weiss brew.

From a bottle. Thin, white head that partly went away. Muddy, red color. Slight banana and peach in the light aroma. A little malt and slight cider. Smooth. I wish I could try this on tap.
