Nice dark wheat with a soft creamy head. Unfortunately, I was eating a meal with this one. I'll definately have this one again in a meal of its own!

Pours brown with a medium tan head. Nose is a spicy malt with wheat and yeast characteristics. The taste is slong the same lines but there is a fruit taste coming through. Maybe banana mixed with citrus. Finishes very well with some more of the maltiness coming out. Great beer!

Better than the regular. Same cloudy orange but a different shade. Much darker brown. No head though on this one. Smells the same as the other except a bit nutty. The lemon flavor is evident but the little floral nuttiness comes through. Smooth and easily drinkable.

Apple cider appearance with some head and lacing. Good banana esters coming through and lingering well after the swallow. Sweet aroma of banana and yeast. Decent enough !

Smells like mild banana and lots of yeast, quite sweet. Appearance, as usual from this brewer, is just over the top. Huge lasting head, tons of lacing, wonderful clouded ruby-brown color. Opens up initially with a great candied like taste. Lots of sugar, some subtle banana and lots of yeast, very peppery texture and lots of clove, almost too much at one point. Very impressive, but as it settles and warms the taste starts leaving! Come back!, but it dosent, begins to start feeling watery, taste gets way too subtle. Flavor is wonderfully balanced but this beer just dosent make it to the end. I did have a 22 oz. Still, thought this would be bigger and badder and better than the regular hefe. Still a good beer, just expecting more.

Not as good as I had hoped. A little thick for my taste. It did have a good aroma and a nice amount of head.

A nice, hearty wheat beer with spicy undertones and a sizable head. Not my favorite style, but I could have this again.

Nice yeasty aroma with some spice tones. Orangey-brown cloudy colour with big just off-white head that keeps on going. Full complex flavour with yeastiness, some banana, big cloves and other spices (nutmeg?), caramel with a good alcohol finish. Somewhat sweet. Good weight in the mouth and slides down smoothly. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this beer and am looking forward to trying other examples of the style. Bottle.
