A cloudy maple syrup color with a large creamy off white head. At first there is a slight oak or perhaps a roasted wheat aroma, whichever, it gives a very pleasing charred smell. Upon further warming more traditional wheat aromas bloom: yeast and spices. Taste is a roasted wheat very subtle yeast, crisp fruit with an ever present roasted taste. No bitterness.

It pours orangish brown with a finely carbonated head. tart citrus aroma. Sour palate, and definate taste of roasted wheat and, I don't know, rye? much tarter than most dark wheats and doesn't have an overpowering sweetness. I kinda liked it.

Big fluffy head and tremendous clove nose. Lots of clove flavor with spice and wheat. Some restrained banana too. Darned nice.

Bottle. A hazy brown color with a laced tan head. A solid weizen like aroma with citrus, coriander, orange peel, and spice. The dunkel side comes into the flavor with an added malt and grain character to the weizen spice. Still, this beer is predominately a German Wheat.

Certainly not the best dunkel hefe, but decent overall. Heavy malt and wheat taste with a little cocoa in the middle. Cardboardy aftertaste. Strong hefe nose, cloudy brown color, and a quick dissappating head. Medium body and round finish.

Bottled under the Weisse Dark name. Good german wheat. Nice good flavor. Tons of head. Kind of a copper color.

Coriander, vanilla, banana and lemon nose. Nice medium foamy head on a cloudy orange brown brew. Soft carbonation. Ripe banana taste, peppery finish. A bit flat though, otherwise good.

Aroma of coriander, and very yeasty and wheaty. Medium dark brown and murky appearance. Has quite a bit of carbonation, and is very frothy. No distinguishable taste for me, perhaps because of the carbonation and coriander feel to it. This leaves the tongue feeling itchy, and overall is not a very pleasent experience.
