Bottle. Clear light brown with a large beige head that faded quickly and left only smears of lacing. Smell and taste are the same with this beer: namely Wheatena cereal, slightly burned wheat toast and allspice. Thin, slightly overcarbonated body. Drinkable, but that’s about it.

Poured hazy brown, nice thick white head. Aroma was a little off, some sour smell, and something else that just smelled bad. Flavor had some banana, and then some sourness in the end.

Nice brown color, small creamy head. I like the malt flavor along with the wheat, I think it’s a nice compliment. flavor is smooth. Nice lingering malty finish.

This beer poured a murky brown color with a moderate head and left some lacing on the glass. The aroma was very wheaty/yeasty with some citrus - pretty good aroma for a weiss beer. The flavor was a smooth blend of citrus and the wheat. Very enjoyable weiss brew.

I know it as Weisse dark. Great beer. Near perfect in fact. Not better then the regular weisse but almost equally fantastic this has such a great flavor. Weisse beer is so good and this is similer to the Weihenstephaner dark.

Very nice beer. Aroma of bananas and some cloves, with hints of roasted malt in the background. Flavor is similar, with citrus, followed by a roasted malty finish.

Poured a very cloudy light brown after I swirled and poured the remaining yeast into the glass. The head was soapy and three fingers thick in my weisse glass and never really went away. The nose was of wheat, baked bread and banana. The taste started with bananna, bread, raisins and apples. The end was malty and yeasty with the slightest hint of clove. The finish was smooth and oily with a medium feel. This was a nice, above average representation of the style. Well worth trying

Not as flavorful as I thought it would be. Starts off with some nice traditional hefe flavors (sweet, yeasty spices and banana flavors) mixed with some roasted notes, caramel and chocolate, but after a few sips it seems to get more watery in flavor.
