Orange-brown with a medium head. Aroma of banana bread and caramel. A bit of a sweet spicy flavor. Can notice some carbonation.

Draught at "Steak Frites" NYC. Had with a sauteed monkfish with a raspberry sauce....a result of my amateurish attempt at beer-food pairing (though it basically worked out fairly well I thought). Amber/brown color w/ a frothy head and a mild yeasty (banana/clove) aroma. Dark quickbread to cookie malt flavor with some more banana yeast and underlying appley (even cidery) tartness. Moderate carbonation in a medium body. Pretty good when all was said and done.

Pours a murky brown orange with a very large off-white foamy froth on top. Sweet phenolic aroma, banana, crystalized brown sugar, clove. Bananas foster flavor, sweet and rich, lightly nutty, slightly metallic, nice light spiciness, a bit chewy though. Medium body, sugary with softer sizzling carbonation. A good beer but hard to tell its a dunkel.

Bottle. Dark cloudy amber with a big, slowly-diminishing, beige head. Nice aroma of fruity and spicy esters, maybe some light citrusy hints and caramel. Sweetish flavor, slightly tart, with some caramelly and a bit bready malt, light banana notes and some hints of apples. Medium-bodied with a typical Weizen mouthfeel.

draught: bours dark brown, but it was not the best pour by the bartender. the head was minimal. Aroma was of sweet malt, slightly spicy with banana mixed in there. Flavor are a mirror of the aroma. Crisp however. medium body. Not overly heavy.

Pours a dark brownish copper into the glass with a nice white head. Aroma is toasty and banana-like. Taste is very smooth and refreshing with some fruitiness at first followed by a bizarre but nice spice.
