En fût au Beer Bistro. Une bière blonde qui propose une tête énormément blanche. Des arômes de céréales et de grains qui sont touchés par des parfums lérèrement citronnés. Des saveurs qui se collent aux arômes. Des malts et des houblons qui entretiennent un dialogue de bonne entente. Une sensation en bouche qui est dans la norme. Une finale qui propose une certaine amertume. Rien de palpitant mais bien facile à boire.

Light hazy yellow colour with a white head. Taste is mild sweet, with a very low hop presence.

Tap from the barrel at der Pschorr am V-markt. Clean and clear golden with a lacing, frothy dark white head. Rich golden malt nose, simple malt taste, sweet and lightly bready. Clean and unremarkable.

Clear golden color, big cloudy white creamy head, lots of lace. Very herbal hoppy nose with hints of metal. Light-bodied. Smooth palate. Pale maltyness, some sweetness, herbal hoppyness with short finish. Good drink with greasy Bavarian food.

On tap, Der Pschorr, Munchen, Viktualenmarkt. First beer of our discovery tour and a starting station of my helles-loving procedure. Solidly sweet and a bit dry and delicious. Exhausting beer for a good conservation.

Tastes like a trashy lager with the slightest hint of decency. Alright for that kind of thing but that’s it. No aftertaste. On tap at beerbistro.

Originally rated August 2005. Sampled from their brown 500ml bottle in a lager glass. Pours a clear yellow colour with a small white head that is foamy (not creamy like the description says). Retention and carbonation is light. Also, small amounts of lacing. The scent is of grass and alcohol. Mouthfeel is creamy. The taste starts off with sweet malt and stays until the grassy hop kicks in the aftertaste. Dry finish and slight sourness in the background. Not too bad, but nothing to exciting. Recommended to those who like it grassy.

Lacy blond colour with bubbly white head. Fairly straightforward German lager that can be drunk over and over at a BBQ or beer hall.
